Tiling
We lay tiles in flats, houses, hotels and public buildings. We work in every format, from mosaic to large-format slabs, with substrate preparation and waterproofing as part of the job.
Bathrooms and washrooms
We build a bathroom from the substrate to the last joint: waterproofing, wall and floor tiles, niches and level-access showers. Falls towards the drain are set so water does not stand, not even in the corners. In hotels and schools we tile washrooms in phases, around the other trades. Before we start, we agree the tile layout, skirting height and joint positions, so cuts end up where they are least visible.
- Materials and formats
- Wall and floor tiles, mosaic, liquid waterproofing with corner and penetration tapes, linear and point drains, cementitious and epoxy grout.
Floors and walls in flats, houses and offices
We lay floor and wall tiles in homes and commercial spaces, on new and existing substrates. Before laying we check the screed for flatness and moisture and level it where needed. Tiles follow the agreed layout, with edge finishing, skirtings and transition profiles to other floor coverings. With underfloor heating we keep to the drying time and heating-up protocol of the screed before laying.
- Materials and formats
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles, C2 cementitious adhesives, levelling compounds, edge and movement-joint profiles.
Large-format and thin slabs
Large-format slabs, for example 120 × 120 or 160 × 320 cm, need a flat substrate, tools for cutting and handling, and full-contact bonding. We apply adhesive to both the substrate and the slab so no voids remain beneath it, and use levelling systems. Thin slabs are cut and drilled on site, including openings for fittings and sockets. For wall cladding at height, moving and lifting the slabs is planned before work starts.
- Materials and formats
- Large-format porcelain slabs and thin slabs, C2TE S1 or S2 adhesives, levelling systems, vacuum lifters and cutting tables.
Terraces, balconies and outdoor areas
Outdoors, tiles must withstand frost, sun and water, so the substrate, falls and movement joints matter as much as the tiles themselves. We use frost-resistant tiles, waterproofing beneath them and deformable adhesives. Movement joints run along the edges and through the fields, and water is led away by falls and edge profiles. On existing terraces we first find the cause of damp or of old tiles coming loose.
- Materials and formats
- Frost-resistant porcelain tiles, liquid waterproofing, C2TE S1 or S2 adhesives, drip and edge profiles, drainage mats.
Pools and wellness
In pools and wellness areas, tiles and grout are constantly exposed to water, chemicals and changes in temperature. We work with ceramic tiles and mosaic, waterproofing made for pools and chemically resistant epoxy grout. Overflow channels, steps and edges are tiled to the design and the requirements of the equipment. Slip-resistant tiles for barefoot areas are chosen by class A, B or C.
- Materials and formats
- Pool ceramics and glass mosaic, pool waterproofing, RG epoxy grout, slip-resistant tiles of class A–C (DIN 51097).
Public and commercial buildings
Hotels, hospitals, schools and universities need large areas, slip-resistance classes R9–R13 and schedules aligned with the other trades. We plan the work by phase and floor, with daily coordination with site supervision. Materials and details follow the bill of quantities and the design, and deviations are settled before laying, not after. Each finished phase is handed over with a signed record.
- Materials and formats
- Porcelain tiles in slip classes R9–R13 (DIN 51130), C2 adhesives and CG2WA grout, epoxy grout for kitchens and laboratories, movement-joint profiles.

How we work
-
Site visit and survey
We visit the site, measure the surfaces and check the substrate, drains and the joints with other trades.
-
Quote with a bill of quantities
We send a quote with items, quantities and a schedule, so you can compare it line by line.
-
Execution
We work to the agreed plan, with substrate preparation and waterproofing where they are needed.
-
Handover and guarantee
We inspect the finished work with you before handover. Our work carries a 2-year guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
What does the price of tiling depend on?
On the tile format, the state of the substrate, how much preparation and waterproofing is needed, and the number of cuts and details. We give an exact price in a quote with a bill of quantities, after a site survey.
How long does a bathroom take?
It depends on the state of the room, the drying of the substrate and waterproofing, and the plumbing and electrical work. The indicative schedule is in the quote, after the site visit and survey.
Do you supply the tiles and materials?
We can work with tiles you have chosen or propose materials suited to the room. Adhesives, waterproofing and grout are chosen for the substrate and the load on the surface.
How should the room be prepared before work starts?
The room should be cleared, and plumbing and wiring finished or scheduled around our work. The substrate must be dry and sound; we measure the moisture of the screed before laying.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Our work carries a 2-year guarantee. It does not exclude or limit your statutory rights in respect of defects.
